The primary objective of the Human Resources Department is the provision of a personnel service to the Central and Regional Fisheries Boards in the areas of industrial relations, personnel administration and training. The HR Department also seeks to generate a culture in which the business needs of the Boards are achieved by fostering and developing a climate of cooperation, consultation and participation between management, staff and trade unions.
Training and development and health, safety and welfare also fall under the remit of this department.
